With VirtualHere still running as a service, I went into the install folder for it and ran it again. Now it just doesn't even recognize it.Ģ0. I suppose I could try re-installing the game, but that seems like a bit of a long shot since it runs fine with the USB cable directly, and RS at least recognized the cable, though was glitchy when it ran. I just re-installed Steam, and pointed the library folder to the external drive folder. The only thing I can think of is that I am running this from a new installation of Windows, but the game is on my external drive.

Tested fine directly in the PC USB port.But now Rocksmith won't detect the cable through the SteamLink at all. But then I was playing some Rupert Holmes in my living room, and there were some crackling sounds, so I decided try tweaking the ini file to try to fix it. After a lot of trouble, I eventually got a rocking setup going for a few months. I even ran an analog audio cable from my PC to the receiver to avoid all the HDMI lag.
